The assessment of vision using BOTH eyes to achieve clear, comfortable binocular single vision.

Term 2 :

Lenses

 

 

The assessment of contact lens fittings.

* Keratoconus

* Aphakia

* Soft Contact lenses

* Rigid gas permeable lenses

* Referral letters to an

    Ophthalmologist

* Wednesday afternoons

Terms 1 & 2 :

Vision

 

 

To assess the loss of sight that is not correctible with prescription glasses, contact lenses or surgery.

* Poor vision even with spectacles or other devices

* Visual impairments secondary to systemic or other problems

* Assistive devices such as magnifiers

* Rehabilitative support such as orientation and mobility

* Monday mornings

Term 2 :

* 9:30 am

  1. Paediatric

Vision

Visual assessment of children from infancy to the school- going age of up to 13 years old.

* Blurred vision

* Eye-related discomfort

   and pain

* Failed vision screening

* Eye-turn

* Eye-movement problems

* Learning related problems

* Spectacles

* Prescriptions

* Therapy

* Referral to an appropriate

   health-care professional
