BIOSKETCH
Rekha Hansraj holds a PhD in Optometry from the University of KwaZulu Natal (UKZN) where she currently serves as an associate professor in the Discipline of Optometry.  She has also worked on an adhoc basis with the previous “Brien Holden Vision Institute” and the “African Vision and Research Institute”.  Her involvement in teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels has resulted in her serving as external examiner for Optometry Disciplines in South Africa and graduating many masters and PhD students. She has published in and served as reviewer for various Optometry and Ophthalmology Journals.
