BIOSKETCH
Siddeeqa Jhetam holds a Bachelor of Optometry degree, completed at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2006.  Subsequently Siddeeqa spent 3 years in private practice and returned to academia in 2011.  She is currently a senior tutor in the Discipline of Optometry at the University of KwaZulu-Natal and co-ordinates the undergraduate Low Vision and Ophthalmic Optics courses.  Siddeeqa is also involved in other modules such as Clinical Techniques and Paediatric Vision Clinic.  She is currently completing a Master’s Degree in Optometry related to Low Vision.
